IN HER EYES

She had fire
In her eyes
The type the Sun has.
It was like the warmth
of a mother's embrace.
But in waiting
had the wrath
Of the God of the Jews

She had light in her eyes
Like that of the Moon
The type that  fills the belly
With butterflies
While the silhouette
Of a couple in their world
Harping melodious words.
Pervades the horizon.
Soft in its iridescence.
Like the plumes of a peacock .
It  shines with a secrecy
That only those
who don't stare can see
Like the half Moon.

She had Darkness in her eyes
The type of umbra
That accompanies light.
In the middle of her calm eyes
A storm raged around it.
The darkness,
That brightens light,
to bear on everything.
Lightning oozed
From her glance
And her voice
thundered in whispers.
A Queen of all sorts.

In all she was a vortex,
Consuming both sides of all divides
