THE PAUSE

 

Hasty or lackadaisical 

To every journey 

There is a moment of pause.

That the traveler must observe.

Such is the nature 

Of every sojourn.

A lull is not abandonment 

A rejig

Is a like a pull of a bow

Before the arrow 

Goes forth.
