a Rose flower
came gliding down
shedding some petals
like a comet as a she glided along
the lady in anticipation
wanted to pick it up
but the man crushed it as we walked on by ignorantly.
she was miffed.
while reminiscing
she got stung by a Bee
smatting from it
she looked up
and a blob of honey
dropped into her mouth
she savoured it
while she nursed the sting.
she wished he understood
what it meant
to be crushed by your crush
struck by a sweetened sting
A thorny Rosy situation is irresistible indeed.
