ONE TRUE THOUGHT

Some thoughts
Are like park pigeons
They flutter around
Tease us
Linger if we throw corn at them
And even summon others as we feed them
Others are not interested

Each time we draw closer
They become skittish
As we run out of the corn
Their number thin out
And soon a single pigeon remains
And that is one true thought
Be mindful of it.
