Undulations are eternal
After every sand dune another appears ahead
There is no rest for the sojourner
He is either gaining ascent under strain,
Enjoying the heroics of the summit
Or managing his descent well.
And before long looks forward to another climb.
Those without mountains ahead
Are surely at their journey's end
This is the definition of life
