The Heart

Some days look desolate, and absence of your wishes ghost around and you feel like a Lilliputian among towering expectations. It’s not a question of being alone or lonely, you are simply stuck somewhere in between, trying hard to find yourself.
You walk adrift, as much as your wishes dart around, suddenly it seems the world is lacking in folks. This is when a hug is worth all the treasures we hold dear; it’s when you realize the coldest place in the world is a  restless heart, neither is a place lonelier than a crowd full of strangers. And you wonder, if you are either a-dream or imagining things. Life comes in such trappings sometimes, but remember “these too shall pass away”. Feeling pity for yourself is tempting, but not a permanent remedy; just keep moving on, for the shadows will disappear. There are frontiers ahead, only to those, who are not stagnant.
