Total conformity is a new form of slavery and a religion
without a god. The vagaries of fashion are like setting sail against a cyclone.
Neither your paddle nor your sail will determine your direction in such dire
times; as you are left to the whims of the Monstrous wind.
Do gods make dresses? Or do they fall from the sky? While it
is ignoble to always fall out of line or lose the beauty of modesty. What
determines fashion or vogue, is varied, and inter spaced with time, culture and
climate. As such Jone's syndrome is not fashionable.
The Tibet nomad’s (pictured above) sense of fashion needs no
one’s approval? And is purely based on his very unforgiving cold climate. He is
comfortable for his own good.
So when last did you try to conform or impress and ended up
either ridiculous or offending every one you encountered, worse still hurt
yourself. If you constantly seek people’s approval, then you do not know your
worth, and if you must break your paddle to conform all the time, then you will
never find yourself in the blissful land of innovation via satiation. Maintain
your ISBN(International Standard Book Number) number, so the world can know you, strike it with modesty and see how
you will equally determine what will be fashionable in all aspects of life. As
it is said, “…and to thyself be true”
